Small Business Luncheons
We invite you to join us for this hour of mixing and networking with local business associates and our individual members. Our luncheons are usually held on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
Annual Awards Gala
The Annual Awards Gala is when we give special awards for the year including Teacher of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Impact Award, and Spirit Award. SouthWest Mobile County Chamber also sponsors the Citizen of the Year award honoring someone from the community that has gone beyond the call of duty, gives 100% and more, exceeds all obstacles and continues to give a helping hand to others.
Small Business of the Month
Each month a business is chosen as Small Business of the Month. At the end of the year these 11 businesses are eligible for winning Small Business of the Year.
Business Expo
The Business Expo is a relaxed and informal get together of professionals from many different types of businesses. This is a great opportunity to network, discuss and share ideas while enjoying complimentary refreshments from local restaurants
Kid’s Day
Kid’s Day is directed at getting kids healthy and active. A day of free fun and activities that the entire family can enjoy.
First Responder Breakfast
This annual event honors the women and men that put their lives on the line each day in order to protect our community and families.
Chamber Networking Event
This is a premier networking event for your business to showcase your facilities and services to the community.
Food Drive
Our food drive partners with local students and businesses to provide families who are in need during the holidays.
Ribbon Cuttings
We would be happy to help your business celebrate with a Grand Opening, Ribbon Cutting or Groundbreaking Ceremony.
Coffee with the Chamber
Join us for Coffee & Networking each month to provide another avenue to showcase your business.
Wreaths for Charity
The Chamber and local businesses sponsor this event. The wreaths are made by area schools and businesses then sold to raise much needed funds for families in need.
Alabama Pecan Festival

Breakfast with Santa
Each year this annual event has grown with 400 plus attending. Volunteers serve free pancake breakfasts to children and Santa is always around for pictures.
Christmas Parade
Over 40 years the Chamber has sponsored a family friendly community parade with local businesses, churches, schools, organizations and individuals that participate. The parade is held each year the first Saturday in December.
T.A.L.L. Program
This program is to encourage and enable the future leaders of our community. Through hard work, volunteerism, and dedication we believe inspiring young people to be better citizens. This program is a gateway to our scholarship process and all students must enroll and complete the T.A.L.L. Program “Tillman’s Corner Area Learning Leadership”. More Information
Market at the Corner
Held in the fall, this event features local vendors showcasing their one of a kind items like furniture, clothing, accessories, art, homeware, jewelry and much more.
