Outstanding Officer of the Month
Congratulations to Officer Bradley Latham from the Mobile Police Department Precinct II on being selected as the Officer of the Month for March of 2024. Officer Latham was recognized for his accomplishment at our Business Luncheon on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. The SouthWest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce would like to say thank you for your outstanding efforts and continued commitment to our community! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Captain Matthew James accepted the award on Officer Latham’s behalf. Captain James is on the Board of Directors for the SouthWest Mobile County Chamber and has been a great representative of the Chamber team. He is pictured to the right accepting the certificate from local Century Bank representatives and Chamber Partners: Jason Prater and Donna Abercrombie.
Last month, the Chamber recognized its first Deputy from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and will continue to do so at each Monthly Business Luncheon. The SouthWest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce is excited to expand its recognition of local first responders. Detective Michael Pozobyt was recognized on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 as the first Deputy of the Month. The Chamber would like to thank you for making the sacrifices you have to protect others in the community. Detective Pozobyt is pictured to the left with his superior, who attended to help present the award, and the Chamber’s Executive Director, Tina Poiroux. It is an honor to recognize these individuals for their bravery and dedication to our city. We appreciate the efforts of both departments as well as their leadership for continuing to support the SouthWest Mobile County Chamber and its partners.
