Business of the Month

Each year, the SouthWest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce recognizes a partner as the Business of the Month. These businesses are chosen based off their community engagement, involvement with the Chamber, attempts to serve others on a personal level, business achievements, and more! In May, the eleven business are voted on by both partners and the community. The three finalists are recognized and honored at the Small Business Luncheon in May in the John C. Williams Auditorium.  Once the Small Business has been selected and the results are announced the Chamber will then nominate this business to represent our community in Montgomery at the Annual BCA Awards Banquet.  The SouthWest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce has also included a grant for the Small Business of the Year Winner in 2024. 

The Small Business Awards Banquet in Montgomery is in partnership with the Alabama Chambers Association and the Business Council of Alabama. This Small Business Awards Annual Meeting celebrates the backbone of the community across Alabama.  Their event brings together the partnership with the BCA and the Alabama Chambers Association as they look to establish their legislative agenda for the upcoming year.
