2024 Business of the Year: Wings of Life
Congratulations to our 2024 Business of the Year: Wings of Life. This special non-profit organization was recognized as the award recipient at our May Business Luncheon on Wednesday, May 1st. This is the first SWMCC Business of the Year to receive a $500.00 grant to help further their mission and vision. It is an honor for the Chamber to have the opportunity to recognize the outstanding individuals who have made the organization what it is today.
Moving forward, the SWMCC will nominate Wings of Life to move on to the State Level Small Business Awards. These awards are given through Alabama Chambers in partnership with the BCA. If chosen as a finalist, the selected business will have the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony in Birmingham, Alabama with Chamber Officials.

Wings of Life has been serving the people of Mobile for 34 years. For the last two years, we have been doing a “new” thing. We not only continue to serve men, women and married couples, but we also offer Christ centered holistic recovery and care to whole families struggling with addiction. We believe healing the whole family also keeps the community healthy.
Wings of Life loves the city of Mobile. As the first business of the year to receive a grant, we are not only honored to be recognized, but compelled to give back and contribute to the continued growth, prosperity, and health of our community.
